Today, the Design Museum in London will be opening their new exhibition entitled “The Future Is Here: A New Industrial Revolution”. The 3D printing becomes more and more accessible to the mass market – as well increasingly cheaper. And the way in which we design, make and use objects is undergoing a big transformation – one which will affect industry, commerce and of course, the way that we live. The exhibition explores the boundaries between designer, manufacturer and consumer and how they are becoming ever more blurred, as well as showcasing the new manufacturing techniques and their significance upon us. “The Future Is Here: A New Industrial Revolution” will run through to 3 November.
