‘Warhol and the Diva’ is an exhibition at the Lowry, Manchester were a series of Warhol’s less known prints will be presented. The exhibition showcases a collection of Warhol’s Polaroid’s of iconic figures of the 20th century like Liza Minnelli, Joan Collins and Debbie Harry along with his self portrait drag photographs. Τhe selection of the 30 Polaroids that are included in the exhibition were taken from a 3000 Polaroid archive. The photographs represent artists that Warhol was shooting with his instant camera before the creation of his famous screen prints.
The exhibition lasts till September 25th.
