Tim Bessell handcrafts the highest quality surfboards. He has already shaped over a whopping 46,000 in his lifetime(!). Last year, he presented his first artist series collection inspired by Andy Warhol’s distinct artwork, coinciding with the official release of the late artist’s ’70s movie San Diego Surf that premiered at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art last October. To celebrate the release of the second series, Stolenspace Gallery will host an exhibition showcasing all 10 surfboards – alongside a screening of Andy Warhol’s San Diego Surf and other classic surf movies.
