Au Palais is a brand new brother and sister electro goth-pop duo (Elise & David) based in London, but actually coming from Toronto, Canada. On December 2011 they released an EP titled “Tender Mercy” via The Sounds of Sweet Nothing, gaining immediate attention from the best music websites such as Pitchfork and NME, receiving some very good reviews and being already compared with some great artists like Austra and Zola Jesus. We’ve being expecting for a long time for their first official video clip to be released, but it seems that it worthed the wait as it is a splendid video, that manages to visualize the unique feeling of the song, which has been beautifully described to be “as arresting as a beautiful face emerging from the dark”. While waiting thus for their first full lenght, you can watch Tender Mercy directed by Canadian visual artists Istoica, Mary Gerretsen, James Cooper & Liam Cushing.
