To celebrate Alexander McQueen’s contribution to fashion, the Costume Institute in New York organized the exhibition ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’, which started on May 4th.The exhibition features the evolution of McQueen’s postgraduate collection in 1992, to his final runway presentation which took place after his death in February 2010. Alexander McQueen is the second designer (After Gianni Versace), to be honoured so soon after his death.
