Berlin-based label Boessert/Schorn distinguish itself for its innovative combination of materials, knit techniques and dyeings. The designer Sonia Boessert draws inspiration by old things, craft, traditional costumes, various handcraft methods of the past as well as from German artistic movement of Bauhaus and Dada. Simplicity and functionality co-exist with an aesthetic anarchy defining each garment of the label.
The Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collection remains faithful to the rough, inaccurate, nonchalant style of the label. Knitwear dominates once more in this collection with prints and patterns to co-star in various color ranges. Layers are a key element of the collection too, emphasizing the sense of absolute freedom and movement of the garment.
