We travelled to Copenhagen, the fashion week was on and Designers Remix Collection was one of our favorites to watch. The catwalk was set in Amager, something like a small island with a thin line of sand. Summer evenings in Copenhagen have a great feel and this is exactly what the DRC people had in mind. The theme of the clothes reminded us of an ideal day by the beach, beautiful blacks dresses, tight trousers, light tops and sexy short skirts. This comes as no surprise from DCR’s designer Charlotte Eskildsen, one of the finest creators in Danish fashion scene. Black and white were present as always (this is Scandinavia) however touches of silver, orange and fuchsia paraded as a pleasant surprise! After all, it is summertime. Best way to end the catwalk? “More than This” by Roxy Music. Applause.
