Sarah Burton presented a dark and minimal Fall/Winter 2014 collection for Alexander McQueen during London Collections: Men. Sarah Burton, insists on her dark minimal aesthetics. The background of the catwalk was set to resemble some British alleys not of the best reputation, while her designs create a sense of mystery, highlighted by the “vampiresque” make-up. The long trench-coats, the oversized cardigans and blazers, along with the cigarette pants are in perfect harmony with the Scottish inspired costumes. The dark colours of black and grey are disrupted by the printed white shirts and the gold detailing while the feathered headpieces cannot escape our attention!
