German designer Marcus Lupfer collaborated with Tabitha Denholm (of London-based DJ duo Queens of Noize) on a self-described “fashion mockumentary” video to spotlight the designer’s upcoming ’12 resort collection. The video features cameos by many celebrities, including Florence Welch (of Florence + The Machine fame), model Irina Lazareanu and actress Sadie Frost.
When asked about his latest venture in an interview with the Guardian, Lupfer simply stated that he was interested in finding new ways to showcase the collections other than just through the catwalk. “[The internet] provides a worldwide audience – I love it and will definitely be doing it again”, he says, and we sure hope he will.
