“It’s the crushing of Wall Street,” Michael Kors said while showcasing his Fall lineup. The highlights of the collection were the sweatshirts and track pants, the double-faced cashmere, suede, flannel and other luxurious fabrics garments and playful suits. His designs had a certain twist this time: drawstring waists. He takes a turn avoiding his usual formal style, featuring Baja sweaters, pajama looking suits and beanies combined with long tailored jackets, three button blazer, pullovers, loose shirts and sandals. but softened into something more like pajamas than power suits. A representative look paired crinkled flannel track pants with a longer, three-button jacket, untucked shirt, mohair pullover, and sandals. Kors is taking a leap form luxury into urban-wear.
