Dazed magazine newly revealed an exclusive backstage video from the designer John Galliano during rehearsals with supermodel Kate Moss, in order to enter the character of a princess who runs away, only a few hours before SS94 fashion show of the brand.
It is 1993 and John Galliano faces difficulties. Economic prosperity has dried up and he failed to show his work at AW93. 94 was his last chance to impress the fashion elite and create an artistic masterpiece based around a princess who fled from Russia in 1860, Lucretia.
Drawing inspiration from this story, Galliano is giving to the models the role of Lucretia leaving the catwalk running accompanied by sounds of screams and wolves that existed in the space. Anna Wintour was so impressed by the collection that she used her connections to find a new financial backer for Galliano!
