The Austrian fashion label Meshit, presented its a/w ’14 collection, inspired by the clothes and workwear of herdsmen from all over the world. The playful use of contrasting layers defines the collection’s look while the alpine atmosphere meets urban streetwear. The cuts and detailing are based on traditional costuming and the idea of a layered cape that protects from the weather and constantly changing environmental conditions. Fringed hems, soft plush and pocket detailing along with alcantara inserts are the repeated elements in this collection. The colour palette consists of bright shades of white, creme, beige and pale green, complemented by various tones of grey and dark green. Woollen and velvety surfaces got meet semi-transparent cotton while fine structured knitwear comes one-coloured or in a statement hues allover sheep wool patterned garments.
