Canadian fashion house Ports 1961, took a boyish yet structured approach, for its spring summer collection 2015. Fiona Cibani’s inspiration came from the work of Renzo Piano. Piano is a famous Italian architect. One of his great creations is the Pompidou Center in Paris and he has many others around the world. Ports 1961, aimed to present a youthful casual and sporty collection. Poncho-style boy scout rain coats, dropped-pocked blue jeans and architecturally paneled drawstring-hood jackets mixed up with cotton suits with quirky elements. The fabrics they used most is cotton of the highest quality and a lot of water-resistant silk for outerwear.
