Following the latest trend in pumps that balance between an ergonomic shoe and a decorative piece of art, Swedish Liza Fredrika Åslund designed a series of leather high heels with not-so-ordinary heels.
Her first collection for WHAT’S MORE ALIVE THAN YOU®, an Italian manufacturer of high quality shoes, bags and accessories, entitled Recycle Shoes, includes shoes with heels made out of pieces of wood left over from the construction of chairs and tables. The shoes are designed to provide a more even weight distribution on the ground while the user is walking, in spite of the 120 mm heel. Each model comes in a single color, while all sport a unifying orange lining.
