Spectre: A fashion shoot at Villa Noailles by René Habermacher

René Habermacher, a Swiss fashion photographer who has collaborated with Numero Paris and Vogue, got inspired by the Villa Noailles in Hyères, captures these scenes and along with some more shots he presents the exhibition ‘Spectre’. In ‘Spectre’ his figures play the role of characters, ghostlike protagonists of a dark but still glowing story.

The photo shoot took place in the villa that used to have more than 15 guestrooms which would host personalities such as Jean Cocteau, Pablo Picasso, Luis Bunuel, Henri Matisse and many more. This bauhaus creation of the French architect Robert Mallet Stevens today hosts the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères. A festival – competition where professional people meet young talents face to face, on equal terms. This year’s jury is formed by many successful specialists among others the designer Dries Van Notes and the journalists Sarah Mower and Olivier Lalanne.

The Hyères 2010 fashion design winner is Alexandra Verschueren from Belgium.
