Besides Karl Lagerfeld’s obsessions that we all know such as his cat, diet coke and Mcdonalds, he also has a passion for photography.
Being encouraged by the Image Director of Chanel Eric Pfrunder, Lagerfeld grabbed a camera for the first time in 1987 and since then he has not stopped shooting. The exhibition A Visual Journey, at the private Pinacothèque museum in Paris, will include images from many editorials and more artistic architectural pictures from Paris and himself. Two editorials inspired by Greek mythology, will also be on the exhibition.
Karl Lagerfeld: A Visual Journey’ opens on October 16 at the Pinacothèque de Paris and will run through March 20.
