When something is round and oversized and sits on your face, it’s kind of hard to ignore. Whether through a metallic or acetate frame, these glasses found a way of getting in on the space age craze of the 1960s. One could possibly see them as an over-the-top take on the “teashade” or “John Lennon shades”, though they were also a fixture in the 1950s, in a rather more held back version.
