Some time ago, days actually after the end of the exhibition of the V & A Museum, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, Nick Knight and his SHOWStudio team have released a fashion film, in which unreleased footage of Alexander McQueen is presented. Knight had been working with McQueen, for the most part of his much appreciated career, had made the video back in 2010, but thought it would be more suitable if there was a gap between McQueen’s death and its release. Sarah Burton, the brand’s head designer after McQueen’s passing away, though, is the one to have made the final choice of what is presented in the video that follows.
