For the first time after 2009, the Superior Lake is frozen creating a think and solid surface that allows the safe access to the caves of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore located in the northern Wisconsin. Everyday thousands of people visit the lakeshore in order to enjoy this natural masterpiece. Crystallized waterfalls created by the water splashed against the caves it was solidified shape impressive forms. Experts state that if the weather conditions and temperature remain the same, the caves could be open for one more month.
