Artist Sian Wright links polaroid with memory

Artist Siân Wright tries through her work to explore the disappearing presence of analogue photography since the digital revolution. She uses Polaroid which she thinks that represent ephemeral containers for our memories and thought printmaking she explores the chemical and pictorial aspects of the photos. Printmaking as a process was forgotten for a lot of years but is making a comeback mainly because of the artist’s nostalgia for the lost arts.
