‘’Buildings made of sky’’ is a project created by Peter Wegner. The artist, claims to have been walking down the street in New York when he glanced up and saw an invisible building suspended between the others which was upside down and had the color of air. This gave him the idea to create a series of photos depicting those new forms he had discovered. The artist thinks there are two Manhattans: the one is a city of tall buildings, and the other is the one that starts where architecture fades away. Peter Wegner has graduated from Yale University and his works are part of the permanent collections of many museums including The Museum of Modern Art, The Solomon R. Guggenheim , The Los Angeles County Museum etc.
