English photographer Mick Rock, known for his close relationship with the music industry and especially rock, is holding an exhibition at Sumo Gallery in Tribecca, NY until October 19th. The exhibition is named  Exposed, because the photographer exposes another side, more personal, of our favorite rock legends.

The exhibition, in conjunction with the soft cover release of his acclaimed book of the same title, showcases Mick’s iconic images of Syd Barrett, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Queen, Blondie, Bob Marley and other rock legends that gave him the title of The Man Who Shot the SeventiesExposed also features a selection of Photo Art produced, but rarely exhibited over the past 20 years, with interpretations inspired by Mick’s iconic photos of David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Lady Gaga, Bob Marley, Freddie Mercury, Lou Reed and Paul McCartney.
