In 2010 a young photographer named Brandon Stanton moved to New York with two suitcases and a goal of taking 10.000 photos. 4 years later, the talented photographer fulfilled his goal and continues wandering around Big Apple’s streets searching for new faces and stories.
Stanton posted the pictures he was taking and stories told by the faces captured in a page created on Facebook. This way he amassed millions of people by touching and inspiring them.
The huge success of the “Humans of New York” project is now culminated with the release of a book gathering the artist’s work. After its first week on sale last month, the book landed in the first place on the New York Times best-seller list.
