‘Lift’ is a short film by Marc Isaacs, living in a London tower-block, wherein the film-maker sets himself up and films his fellow residents. What results is a gruellingly honest insight into the lives of those passing. It’s sometimes saddening, sure, but in big cities it is rare that one gets to meet and learn about strangers; those who pass by unnoticed, as you do, too.
