Maria Ionova-Gribina is responsible for “Natura Morta”, a sad but beautiful photographic series in honor of the dead animals she found while riding on her bicycle during the summer. She and her brother found car-hit or naturally deceased animals, which they took and burried after placing them on beautiful flower beds and meditate on the circle of life and death. “In this project I work with my childhood memories and with the subject of life and death,” she says.
