After their collaboration earlier this season with Pharrell Williams, Adidas Originals collaborates with Barbour. The collection consisting of elegant sporty pieces, will be out on 8 of November and will be availiable is selected stores.
Made up of four pairings of outerwear and sneakers associated with three different themes—country, spectator, military—the collection pairs the appropriate Adidas footwear with their Barbour outerwear counterparts. The first story celebrates Barbour’s synonymity with the countryside, giving the iconic Beaufort wax jacket a contemporary makeover. The Adwick jacket in beeswax, retains the classic Barbour Beaufort features of large bellows pockets, studded detachable hood and rear zipped pocket. What makes the Adwick unique is the extra detailing of added leather trims to the hem, pocket and hood. To complement the jacket, the adidas Originals TS Runner was especially redesigned featuring a waxed cotton tongue and beautifully aged tan upper leather.
Next up is the spectator story: The Johbar jacket takes the iconic features of a classic Barbour wax jacket, the large ring pull zip, spacious bellows pockets, hand warmer pockets, studded rear vents and corduroy collar, and combines these into an exclusive wax cotton jacket in navy with contrasting sleeves and leather binding at pockets and cuffs. Complimenting the Johbar are the matching adidas originals ZX 555. Lastly, the military story: The Baradi jacket is multi-pocketed, full of detail and has a printed camouflage lining made up of sections of the accompanying adidas Originals GSG-9. The soft black nappa leather combined with Barbour waxed fabric makes these boots the natural partner to the Baradi jacket.
