A construction made of glass located on the top of the Aiguille du Midi Mountain of the French Alps gives adventurous visitors the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the valley from 1035 high. The specially designed glass box named “Pas dans le Vide ” meaning “Step into the Void” is inspired by the Grand Canyon Skywalk that have been constructed for the same purpose.
“Pas dans le Vide” is designed by Pierre-Yves Chays and can withstand winds of more than 220km/h and a maximum temperature of 60°.
This stunning skywalk will open to the public on December 21, 2013.
