Caledonia Curry, the artist that became widely known when her flotilla project “Swimming Cities of Serenissima” floated at the Adriatic sea for 2009 Venice Biennale, releases her first book, entitled “Swoon”. The artist has shown her installations in galleries and streets around the world, while she is also responsible for larger scale community projects, including the street art collective Toyshop and her Flotillas projects The Miss Rockaway Armada, which involved a big number of artists.
The monograph includes essays by Curry herself, and by art critics and presents numerous creations of different kinds of art, encapsulating her whole life in art making over the last ten years.
