Artist Justine Khamara gives a new dimension to the portrait photographs that she has captured herself, in a unique way. By using laser, she cuts photographs into thin strips and gives them a new form and as a result, they look like surreal sculptures. After printing the portraits, Khamara arranges the stripes from the photos by hand and without any digital edit, she manages to distort them in such a way that they look like abstract pieces of art.
The impressive pieces are composed in high-quality UV prints then applied in plywood and cut in stripes with laser, before they receive their new rearrangement.
