Nele Azevedo is a Brazilian artist that uses ice in order to awaken people, and make them realize the effects of global warming through his installations titled The Army of Melting Men.
Azevedo creates individual ice sculptures by freezing water into certain vessels and then sculpting every single one of them. He creates crowds of figurines, ice cold people and leaves them in public places till they melt.
Just like the ice is melting and we stand indifferent towards global warming.
