This project is the renovation and restoration of a 16thcentury palazzo in Venice Italy just a few minutes from the world renowned Piazza san Marco. It is homage to the work of Venetian Architect Carlo Scarpa and his cryptic, micro tectonic inscriptions that ,as Frampton, critic and historian of Architecrue, notes were somehow capable of transcending the ruinations of time. This private residence is the ultimate modern house that discreetly bend into diachrony. It doesn’t obey the law of contemporary architecture nor the various trends, it is constructed to last during the years.
