London-based architect Zaha Hadid just announced her plans to develop an 11-storey block of apartments beside New York’s popular High Line Park. The predominantly glass and steel building will be located on West 28th Street and will give the effect of multiple large volumes flowing into one another. The project has been commissioned by New York developer Related Companies and will be Zaha Hadid’s first project in the city – offering 37 luxury apartments with amazing view. There will also be an indoor pool, a spa, a grand double-height foyer and a large roof terrace.
