Cindy Crawford, one of the original supermodels of the 90’s era, when models were stars, has a TV drama about modeling in the making. It will be presenting New York during the 80’s, when Crawford’s career started, but Icon –this is how it will be named- won’t present the experiences of the 49-year-old model, but the rivalry between two of the most prominent modeling agencies, Ford Modeling Agency and Crawford’s mother agency, Elite Model Management, when a feud ignited between Elaine Ford and her agency and Johnny Casablancas and his rival company, Elite. The characters though, are fictitious.
According to Variety, the show is being written by Robin Bissell, mostly known as executive producer of The Hunger Games.
