Kristen Stewart is making her relationship with house Chanel even stronger. After having starred in its campaigns and latest Haute Couture Fashion show and showed on the label’s front row, she will be -sort of- portraying the French house’s founder Coco Chanel, for a short film, directed by Karl Lagerfeld.
The American actress will be playing an actress that is about to portray Coco Chanel in a fictional biopic. “She played it really, really mean. […] she’s complaining about everythins. She’s mean with the director, mean with the producer.” says Lagerfeld about Stewart who is starring alongside Geraldine Chaplin, who has portrayed Coco Chanel before.
The film which was shot at Luc Besson’s Parisian studio a while ago, and it will be presented during Chanel’s Métiers d’Arts show on December 1. We can’t wait!
