Daft Punk are beyond doubt one of the greatest bands in the history of their kind. We do not mean to knock them of their throne- even if we could- but this does not mean that they too, can’t get boring.
They may have inspired many other bands, they may have evolved the sound of electro since the early years in Detroit but they did not get that lucky with Get Lucky, after 5 whole years working on the album. Of course that track is a major hit – but everyone admits it’s covers are way better than the original. Each cover for its own special reasons.
