The MTV Video Music Awards have a lot of news to offer.
About a month earlier, Nicki Minaj called out MTV for not picking her “Anaconda” video as a one of the nominations for the “Video of the Year” award. She accused the awards to be against black artists, and then Taylor Swift, who felt kind of offended -for no reason actually- stroke back. And then Miley Cyrus took place: “What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind. It’s not very polite”.
And the hip-hop singer could not let this just go away. When she received her “Best Hip Hop Video” award for “Anaconda”, she replied to Cyrus. Her acceptance speech started in the most usual way. Thanks to her fans, pastor and then it was Miley’s turn to feel her rage “And now back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press – Miley, what’s good?”.
And what was the hostess’s response? Really quick and explaining of the whole situation: “We’re all in the industry, we all do interviews, and we all know how they manipulate shit”. Is this ever going to end?
