Creep is the new project from djs/ producers Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard that you ‘must’ like according to the international music press. The two girls from Brooklyn aim for the 90’s dark trip hop scene revival adapted to the contemporary music scene. They consider their music to be pop, besides there is a tendency in the past months to shift pop music to ‘darker places’. The Creep state clearly that they would love to work with Rihanna and Ciara whose presence and voices are potentially ideal for the kind of music they play. Till then they collaborate with the most unique female vocalists like Romy XX, Nomi Ruiz and Nina Sky couple, for songs which are more than just present in blogs, social networks, fashion shows and ‘cool’ parties.

At the same time, the most powerful contemporary remixers like Soul Clap and Azari & III, are going crazy to remix their music. The Creep have already started their live performances, supporting the Klaxons, as a beginning, in their American Tour and now doing solo performances in Summer Festivals. There is no doubt that the Creep are among the bands which grab the attention at this time. Their sound, they way they dress and the overall attitude make them the ‘alternative celebrities’ of the past three months. It is now time to prove whether they are something more than just a band du jour.
