Channel 83 is an alias for the Disco Bloodbath production team i.e. Damon Martin, the best producer of the club night’s three residents and Ben Rymer of Fat Truckers and Gucci Soundsystem fame. Channel 83 records focuses on disco and acid house edits and their releases are highly collectable. Channel 83 Volume 1 includes one the most widely talked about disco edits of this year ‘Love me Tonight’ by Fern Kinney, which sold out in the blink of an eye. Their latest release is a Balearic/Mancunian acid house remix by Disco Bloodbath of the Alien’s ‘Sunlamp Show’ on the A side, while side B is an edit of Billy Idol’s “Eyes without a Face”.
