Plissken Festival 2013

IMG_6618Plissken fest came back to Athens, giving us 4 days full of music. Plissken is one of the festivals that we will definitely remember for it brought us several contemporary bands.  Friday @ Six D.o.g.s and The Haxan Hoak, Eraas and King Tuff made some serious noise.  The Haxan Hoak started the gig with Drone&Noise sounds, followed by the dark electro band Erras that featured some Post Punk tracks. Closing the day we adored King Tuff from California taking us into some deep Psych and Garage mood.

On Saturday, we followed Plissken at “Neos Cosmos” building in Pireaus Ave to meet a great line up and two stages: A club stage and a live stage. There, we were taken by the Girls Names till King Kreole took over the stage to pass it on to the amazing Fm Belfast. Then it was Truckfighters and Ebo Taylor’s turn,  who rocked the festival together with Fucked Up and Death Grips. As for the lead singer of  Fucked Up?  He stopped for some snapshots with his fans in the middle of the live.
Plissken. One word. Says all.
