Primavera Sound is a festival in Barcelona that takes place every year as Spring comes to an end. The spirit of the festival is to showcase independent and up and coming acts, as well as experienced bands. As of 2011, Primavera Sound starts today and ends on May 29th. Most of the concerts will take place in el Parc del Forum (May 26th-May 28th) while the rest of the concerts will take place in Poble Espanyol (May 25th- May 29th ) and other parts in Barcelona as well. Over 200 artists are included in this years line up such as the Flaming Lips, James Blake, Gonjasufi, Pj Harvey,Pulp, Einstruzende Neubauten, Kode9 and the Space Ape, Interpol, Battles and many many more.
