Acne studios presented their spring summer lookbook for 2015. This collection served as a reminder of Acne’s streetwear roots. The silhouettes are casual, based on mid-20th century archetypes such as coach and Harrington jackets. Codes of traditional casual meet new age style with wide leg shorts or oversize sweaters. A fearless mix of light and heavy characterises the fabrics ,as luxurious materials like alcantara, sheepskin and leather mixed up with paper thin jersey , nylon and cotton. Colours build from a wide range of whites, khaki, beige and brown to sky and blue, burgundy, emerald green and buttercup yellow. Jonny Johansson the creative director of Acne, conceived a collection that was inspired by his nearest and dearest. As he said, “I want my design to feel honest, something that I would wear and my sons too. I draw inspiration from my life so that I can relate”
