This season, the presentation of the Spring/Summer 2016 collections on the fashion weeks were more modernized than ever. In the era of social media and widely consumers, after Givenchy‘s show which was open for the public, or the McQ’s one, which was totally presented through digital screens, Dolce & Gabbana had their models take selfies during their catwalk. These selfies were, automatically, displayed on giant screens and updated on the fashion house’s official social media pages. Earning a spot on the million users’-who follow and watch the brand- news feed, Dolce & Gabbana’s new collection earned a lot of likes and, impressed strongly, confirming the new trend: catwalks are not for a few people, anymore, but they’re addressing to the widely consumers, from whom they, also, get judged.
