Lee, who is the founder and chief designer of the SixLee brand, was the first Chinese graduate from the well-known Royal Academy of Fine Arts, in Antwerp, Belgium, back in 2009. A year on from that, he was in London, as part of Alexander McQueen’s design crew for his men’s line. He set up his own brand in 2011, based out of Antwerp. His Spring/Summer collection 2014 is presented with the traditional British take on tailoring, something which translates into clean cuts and sharp lines combined with soft colors, dreamy & boyish details, which result in truly unique designs. Artillo on the other hand is a well-established fashion illustrator, who manages to merge fashion imagery with flowers, cliffs, renaissance paintings or architectural structures, creating some beautifully surrealist work. Born and bred in Spain, he stands out from the rest of his field, due to his unique approach, which finds him using images he has taken himself along with found imagery. The result of these two artists coming together, is breathtaking, even for the hardest of cynics.
