As the guest designer of the 12th edition of Pitti W, Damir Doma showed his Resort collection in Florence’s Corsini gardens. Known for his modern gothic aesthetic, Doma worked a softer, more feminine angle this time, touching on a variety of influences that he managed with a cohesive vision. Fitted dresses with kimono sleeves and jewel-toned suits with wrapped jackets gave the lineup an Eastern influence. Cubist art inspired a colorful patchwork on a relaxed bias-cut maxidress, while a sexy athleticism came through with tight zip-up crop tops with cutout shoulders and stripes on transparent tops and knits.
