Scientists of the Institute of Texttiles and Clothing in Hong Kong have discovered a fabric, knitted by electrical wires, that can be easily worn, washed, folded. It can be even used for the manustracture of bulletproof vests. The fabric is made by pre-stretched elastic yarn which is from polyurethane coated copper fibres. Scientists tested the fabric in simple wearing conditions and after that they washed and dry 30 samples in which only six of them have reduced their electrical abillity. They believe that the fabric is suitable for the millitary army and similar situations.
