If you haven’ t watch this film already, then you should do. It’ s actually the 66th version of this American classic of F. Scott Fitzgerald, this time directed by Baz Luhrmann. The story primarily concerns the mysterious and handsome millionaire Jay Gatsby and his passion for the beautiful Daisy Buchanan. The Great Gatsby explores the period of 20s, a period of great change worldwide. Love, music but also, decadence and social upheaval create the portrait of the Jazz Age as seen by Buchanan. Leonardo Di Caprio is absolutely stunning as Jay Gatsby an so it is and the rest of the cast.

Catherine Martin -the famous Australian fashion designer- created the 20s-inspired costumes for the long-awaited movie working alongside with Brooks Brothers and Muccia Prada. Although maintaining the authenticity of original 20s clothing was important to both Martin and Luhrmann, the idea of reconnecting audiences with the story was their main challenge. And they surely succeeded it. Let’ s see them…

And those beautiful photos… That atmosphere…
