Retraicing its history, Louis Vuitton fashion house is preparing a big exhibition at Paris’s Grand Palais. Starting on December, 4th 2015, visitors will be able to become part of the brand’s special outlook, as it will be presented at this exhibition named “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez“, which is scheduled to run until February, 21st.
“Louis Vuitton has always been at the avant-garde of creation. More than a century after, if Louis Vuitton remains at the helm of fashion, it’s because we continuously inspire ourselves from the past while anticipating trends of our times,” says Michael Burke, CEO of Louis Vuitton. And this special place the brand owns, couldn’t be better shown as it will through this exhibition curated by Olivier Saillard. This exhibition is, actually, about a review of the history of the fashion house, from the early-beginning travel and leather goods that it produced back in 1854, till its turn into an innovative brand, with Nicholas Ghesquière and Kim Jones at the women’s and men’s helms. This thematic journey will give a fresh vision of the brand’s past, present and future, showing the founding members and, also, the ones who create Louis Vuitton’s future nowadays.
