‘What happens to people left behind? What happens in a space consisting solely of architectural ruins overrun with massive sand dunes?’ is some of the wonderings that the team that created the film Sand People is trying to project to the audience. Directed by Andreas Waldschuetz in Kolmanskop (Namibia) this project aims to explore the relationship between environment and personal development by focusing on fashion.
Fashion designers: Una Burke – Fflur – George Bezhanishvili – Ara Jo and Laend Phuengkit.
The film will be screened as a multimedia exhibition during 10 Festival for Fashion & Photography in Vienna, Austria, June 14th 2010.
