A lively show with smiling models, hastily walking down the catwalk in wigs, pleasant colors, shiny fabrics, stripes and checks, and on the same time with warnings about the dangers of climate change and wars, was what the presentation of Vivienne Westwood’s Spring-Summer 2011 was all about.
The Anglomania – Lee denim collaboration brought on a more ‘everyday look’, but the strongest pieces in the ‘Get a Life’ collection was splashed multi coloured denim waist coats. And the fun surprise that always closes down Westwood;s shows, this time was one of the models riding his skateboard down the catwalk.
