Expecto Patronum! Dust off your wands: the 8th book of Harry Potter is a fact!
“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, the new book about the adventures of the most famous magician in the world is based on the homonymous play that will open in London’s West End on July 30th and will be available the next day – on July 31st, 2016 (on the same day that its author, J.K. Rawling, shares her birthday with Harry!) It takes place 19 years after the last book of Harry Potter, with him being a father of three (and working for the Ministry of Magic) and it introduces us his son Albus (could this be the cursed child?) and his adventures against the darkness. The play has been written by Jack Thorne (based on an original idea by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany and himself), while the decision to be published as a book arose after the demand of Harry’s fans on his official site.
As we are already looking forward to J.K. Rowland’s “Fantastic beasts and where to find them” (a so-called Harry Potter spin off) with Eddie Redmayne, could 2016 be the year of Harry Potter?
